James Monson passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family and those closest to him, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and enduring friendships.

James was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on November 27, 1930, Jim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was stationed on Guam during his military service.

Jim spent much of his life in Minnesota as a practicing Orthodontist, where he and his wife, Pat, built a wonderful family together. Following retirement, Jim and Pat moved to Sun City Center, Florida.

After Pat’s passing, Jim was fortunate to find Dottie, whose care and friendship brought happiness to his later years. He was also grateful for the kindness, and dedication of his caregiver and friend, Willie, who became an important part of his life.

Jim is survived by his six children and their spouses: Nancy ( Mike), Carol, Kathy (Todd), Pat, Bob (Mary), John (Jane), his sister Kathy, and brother Warren (Sue).

Jim is preceded in death by his son-in laws Steve and Will, his sister Margaret and her husband Frank, and brother-in-law Don (Obie).

He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Alek and Austin, Erika and Lillia, James and Juliana, and Olivia and Anna, along with his treasured great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all his children, grandchildren, spouses, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
