Robert Mitchell Lyons
August 19, 2000 — January 19, 2026
A legacy of generosity, ambition, and love.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Lyons, who left this world on January 19, 2026,at the age of 25. Born on August 19, 2000, Robert brought light, laughter, and strength to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Robert was a remarkable young man whose presence could instantly lift a room. He possessed a rare ability to connect with people from all walks of life, offering kindness without judgment and friendship without hesitation. His confidence, warmth, and natural leadership made him someone others gravitated toward.
Professionally, Robert worked at Bank of America, where his intelligence and drive earned him recognition and opportunities to speak publicly as a motivational speaker. He carried big dreams for his future and pursued them with determination and purpose.
Service to others was deeply important to Robert. He quietly gave back through charitable efforts, including helping feed families throughout Tampa Bay during the holidays and providing blankets and socks to veterans. His compassion extended far beyond words.
Robert also found joy in basketball, proudly supporting the New York Knicks, and he cherished time spent with friends and family. Above all, he treasured his role as an uncle to his beloved niece, Aurora, who held a special place in his heart.
Robert is survived by his loving mother, Julie Lyons; his father, Bruce Lyons; his brothers, Chris Lyons and Peter Lyons; and his cherished niece, Aurora Lyons.
Though his time with us was far too brief, Robert’s impact was profound. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, ambition, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
