Theodore Alvin Thomas

Oct 11, 1938 — May 17, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Theodore Alvin Thomas on 17 May 2026 at the age of 87. Born on October 11, 1938, in St. Thomas the VI, to Theodore A. Thomas and Una Wilhelmina Thomas (both deceased); he was the oldest of 13 children.

He joined the U.S. Army in 1963 and received an honorable discharge in 1965. He worked for various companies as an Air Condition and Refrigeration Maintenance representative (Engineering Department). He retired in 2019, after 50 years of dedicated service.

Theodore Thomas was a devoted husband, a loving father, an esteemed brother, a proud grandfather, and a true friend. He meant so much to so many and will be remembered for his warmth, generosity and faithfulness.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially cooking for family, playing cards, and watching and talking about sports. Whether gathered around the table for meals or sharing stories, Theodore had a way of making everyone feel welcome and included. His laughter, kindness, and presence made ordinary moments feel very special.

Above all, daddy loved his family. He quietly treasured the moments he spent with those closest to him and he took great pride in being a husband, father, brother, and grandfather. The memories he created and the love he shared will always remain with his family and friends.
