Lori Louise Sims

"We celebrate the life of Lori Louise Sims (Eldridge), born September 18th, 1958 and went Home to the Lord March 13th, 2026. She was 67 at her passing. She was born to parents Gail and Phyllis Eldridge (Shelton), who also had her older brother, Gary Eldridge, and was a longtime resident of Phoenix, Arizona. She married Daniel James Sims April 26th, 1979 and had three kids together, Daniel Ray, James, and Lorin. They were married for 38 years. Lori moved to Oregon in 2007 with her family and had remained in Oregon ever since, adoring the wildlife, scenery, and weather. Unfortunately, due to a medical complication, she had lifelong disabilities, including end stage renal failure. She was on peritoneal dialysis for almost 20 years. She was a devout stay-at-home mom during this time, with her youngest, Lorin, being her caregiver during her last 15 years of life.

She will always be remembered as someone who loved and someone who was resilient. She had a bright outlook on life and held firm to the belief that laughter is the best medicine. She adored animals of all kinds, especially dogs; music was her therapy, and Jesus was her life. Our lives will be less lively without Lori, but rest assured she is in a much better place, where there is no pain and no sorrow, surrounded by loved ones that have passed before her.
