Rebecca "Becky" Lynne Glasscock Burrell

Rebecca Lynne Glasscock Burrell (Becky) of Hilton Head Island, S.C. died on May 25, 2026, after a long battle with cancer.

Becky was born on March 5, 1955, at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. She graduated from high school in 1973 on Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands. She later attended Augusta Technical College and Ogeechee Technical College, where she developed a lifelong passion for helping others through healthcare.

Becky lived in both Georgia and South Carolina and enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She traveled widely throughout the United States and Europe, creating many cherished memories along the way.

Becky is survived by her husband, Michael, of 51 years; her children, Michael Keith (Jaclyn) and James Reuben (Britany); her grandchildren, Jackson, Kaitlyn, and Caden; her father, James A. Glasscock, Sr.; her brother, James A. Glasscock, Jr.; and her nephew, James A. Glasscock III. She also cherished time with her many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta P. Glasscock, and her brother, Vincent Glasscock.
