Sarah "Anne" Wells

Sarah Anne Wells, known affectionately as "Anne", was born on May 27, 1956 in Orangeburg, SC. The daughter of Laurence Raymond Wells, Jr. and Mildred J. Wells. She was called home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on May 28, 2026 at the age of 70.

Anne was a graduate from the University of South Carolina in Columbia SC. After graduating Anne began a career as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines.

Anne was predeceased by her husband, Steve Sardell of Hilton Head Island. She is survived by her husband Norbert Mixon of Hilton Head Island, her brother Laurence Ray Wells III and his wife Kay Kay of Pawley's Island and several nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased in death by her Uncle Charles Ray and Polly Tucker Jones, who she loved very much and who were very special to her. Anne also had a very dear friends, Julianna Martel and Julie Haldone of Hilton Head Island.

Anne had a sweet and gentle spirit, was deeply devoted to her faith, loved all animals and especially her dogs.

A celebration of life will be held on June 11,2026 at the Dolphin Head Recreation Center from 6:00-8:00 pm. Her kindness, faith, and love will forever be remembered.
