Robert "Rob" John Hilbert, Jr.

Robert John Hilbert, Jr., 50 years young, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, suddenly passed away on July 30, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born September 14, 1971 to Karen and Robert Hilbert. He went to Cheyenne Mountain High School and graduated in 1989. Rob married the love of his life, Kristie, and raised a beautiful family of six children and two grandbabies.Rob was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, "G," coach, and so much more to everyone who knew him. He happily dedicated his free time to coaching soccer to many kids in the community, including his own, and was named "Girls competitive coach of the year" by the state of Colorado in 2020. More than a coach, he was a role model, friend, and family to everyone he met on, and off, the fields.With his beloved family, Rob enjoyed watching movies, playing board games and sports, having backyard BBQ and firepit parties, mini golfing, and cheering on his Colorado sports teams. He was the biggest Denver Broncos fan and never missed a game!Rob is preceded in death by his grandparents; three of his cousins; and his father, Robert Hilbert Sr.He is survived by his wife, Kristie Hilbert; children, Alexis Hilbert, Jade (Andrew) Meine, Paige (Trey) Cushinberry, Torre (Haley McFarlane) Hilbert, Xan Hilbert, and Zebulun Hilbert; two grandchildren, Onyx Meine and Jaxon Cushinberry; his mother, Karen Hilbert; as well as his nine siblings, their spouses, and multiple nieces and nephews. Rob will be missed beyond words but will always hold a very dear and special place in all our hearts. We love you supernatural, to infinity and beyond, daddy!!In lieu of flowers, friends and family are invited to support the Hilbert family with a donation to the Rob Hilbert Memorial Fund at Pride Soccer Club in Colorado Springs.
