Betty K. Malone

Betty K. Malone, 94, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80924, passed away peacefully at home on June 19, 2026, of natural causes.

A retired homemaker and beloved matriarch, Betty filled her days with the simple joys that brought her the greatest happiness. She loved knitting, reading, cooking and baking, and spending cherished time with her family. She delighted in watching her favorite television shows—EastEnders, cooking programs, BET, Ancient Aliens, and many others. She also enjoyed word search and crossword puzzles and took great joy in watching all of the babies in the family grow.

Betty was Episcopalian and carried her faith with quiet grace throughout her life.

Left Behind/Survivors: Jeannie Betty Davis, (Thomas), Gaithersburg, MD; William Tyson "Bill" Malone (Patricia) Leland, NC; Nicolas Alexander "Nick" Malone, Gaithersburg, MD; Tracey Alina Smith (Steven), Colorado Springs, CO; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; cousins abroad, and a host of special in-laws, relatives and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and/or Doctors Without Borders.
