Delbert Wesley Pickard
December 16, 1963 — May 8, 2026
Delbert Wesley Pickard, age 62, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026. Born on December 16, 1963, Delbert lived a life marked by strong convictions, deep love for his family, and a spirit that could never be confined.
Delbert was a free-spirited and intelligent man whose presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He was loving, strong-willed, deeply thoughtful, and never afraid to stand firm in his beliefs. A God-fearing man with strong family values, Delbert loved his children and family with an unfailing heart and devoted much of himself to the people he cared for most.
He found joy in life’s simple pleasures — playing the guitar, listening to music, spending time in nature, sharing conversations about conspiracy theories and the mysteries of the world, and exploring organic medicinal remedies and their healing properties. Delbert appreciated freedom, authenticity, and living life on his own terms. He especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren, whose love brought him immense pride and happiness.
Delbert is survived by Robert Pickard, Matthew Pickard, Julia Ramirez, Laura Pickard along with many extended family members, and loved ones who will continue carrying his memory forward. He is now met by his dad, Melvin Pickard, his mom Jearl Dean Stanley and along with his brother Billy Pickard and sister, Melba Dolla.
Though his passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, Delbert’s laughter, wisdom, stubborn spirit, and deep love for his family will never be forgotten. His legacy lives on in the stories shared, the music remembered, and the lives he touched throughout his journey.
A celebration of Delbert’s life will be held by family and loved ones in honor of the unforgettable man he was.
