Doug Holley, age 74, of Colorado Springs,CO passed away peacefully at home Saturday April 4th, 2026 surrounded by his loving family after battling dementia.
He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Doug was born May 16th 1951 in Denver, CO He grew up in Colorado Springs spending summers in Greeley and Wyoming where he learned to be a cowboy on relatives' ranches.
Doug married his wife Gail on horseback here in Colorado Springs. Celebrated 40 Years together March 26th. He loved horses and dogs.
He will be reunited with all of them now. He roped with his grandkids. He taught the kids to ride and take care of the horses.
He is survived by his wife, Gail, daughters, Danae and Carri and son, Michael, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
