  1. Dudley M. Sigler Sr., 91, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on June 4, 2026, with his beloved wife, Linda, at his side. Known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and perseverance throughout his life, Dudley earned the respect and admiration of all who knew him.

  2. Born on October 6, 1934, in Mount Jackson, Virginia, Dudley was the son of Gene and Mary Sigler. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, May, Ruth, and Betty; and his brother, Olin.

  3. Dudley attended Mount Jackson High School, where he excelled as a distance runner and qualified for the Virginia state competition in the mile. He later completed three years of college.

  4. A proud American, Dudley served with distinction in the United States Air Force, rising to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. His military career included service during the Vietnam War, and he earned numerous commendations and medals in recognition of his leadership and dedication. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he worked for 22 years with UPS.

  5. Dudley made his home in Colorado Springs, where he was known for his kindness, honesty, integrity, positive outlook, and unforgettable sense of humor. A devoted Christian, he lived his faith through the way he treated others.

  6. Family was at the heart of Dudley’s life. He was the proud father of Dudley M. from his first marriage of 43 years. Later, he found enduring happiness with his wife, Linda, whom he was married to for 25 years. Linda was the love of his life, and together they shared many years of love, companionship, and devotion.

  7. Dudley loved the outdoors, gardening, playing cards, and spending time with family, especially children. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; his children, Dudley M., Lanette (Sapphire), Terese, and Melanie; and his cherished grandchildren, Christian, Nicholi, Katielin, Grace, and Matthew.

  8. A memorial service celebrating Dudley’s life will be held on June 20, 2026, at Aspen Trails Auditorium.

  9. One of Dudley’s favorite Bible verses was John 3:16:

  10. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

  11. Dudley will be remembered for a life of service, faith, and love for family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

  12. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a veterans’ organization of your choice in honor of Dudley’s lifelong commitment to serving his country and fellow veterans.
