In Loving Memory of Margaret Ann Crow White-Mayns

Margaret Ann Crow White-Mayns, a cherished resident of Colorado Springs, peacefully passed away on June 12, 2026, at Brookdale Assisted Living, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. Margaret was born on June 29, 1941, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Joseph and Iola Crow. Her life was a testament to the power of education, compassion, and an unwavering sense of adventure.

Margaret's early years were spent in the close-knit community of Braman, where she grew up alongside her beloved brothers, Richard and Robert Crow. She graduated from Braman High School, and her love for learning led her to Oklahoma State University, where she earned a degree in education. This path led her to a fulfilling career as a second-grade teacher in District 11 of Colorado Springs, where she dedicated over 35 years to nurturing young minds. Her passion for teaching was evident in the way she inspired her students, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

After retiring from teaching, Margaret embarked on a new chapter with Clinique, where she delighted in helping others feel beautiful and confident for 15 years. Her radiant smile and genuine warmth made her a beloved colleague and friend.

Margaret's love for sports was infectious. She was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and Alabama football, proudly cheering "Roll Tide" during every game. Her enthusiasm for sports was only matched by her zest for life, as she embraced each new adventure with open arms.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Iola Crow; her brother, Raymond Crow; and her beloved husbands, Corlies R. White and John A. Mayns. Her memory lives on through her devoted children, Brent White (Melinda) and Julie White-Corbaley (Mark), who were the pride and joy of her life. She was a loving grandmother to Kannon White-Corbaley, Jackson White, Blake White, and Reese White, who brought endless joy and laughter to her days.

Known for her gift of making everyone feel welcome and valued, Margaret touched countless lives with her kindness and generosity. Her home was a haven of warmth, where friends and family gathered to create memories that will be cherished forever.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Bloom Hospice, and Brookdale for their compassionate care during Margaret's final days. "Forever in our hearts," she will be remembered with love and admiration by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Margaret's life will be held at a later date, where stories, laughter, and love will be shared in her honor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Margaret's memory, continuing her legacy of kindness and giving.

Margaret Ann Crow White-Mayns will forever be remembered for her warm smile, her unwavering love for her family, and her enduring impact on all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and joy that will continue to inspire us all.
