Pamela Lynn Crosswhite

Jul 31, 1944 — Apr 5, 2026

Pamela was born in 1944 in Huntington West Virginia to Hugh and Pauline Bias.  Pamela was the youngest of four children. Pamela grew up using sign language as she had a deaf mother and hard of hearing father who had met and married in a deaf and blind school. Although Pamela grew up in Huntington WV. Pamela worked at the Waikiki club at the Holiday Inn and loved her job.  There she met the love of her life, William Crosswhite. Within six months, they were married and made their way out to Cheyenne, Wyoming as William was in the Air Force and stationed in Wyoming. Pamela began her life as a military wife in 1970 for the next seven years until William retired.

William served 20 years in the Air Force and retired as a E7 and a proud military veteran. Pamela and William both loved Colorado Springs and considered it their home and raised their family here.  William passed away in April 2021 due to Covid. If William, we’re still with us, Pamela and William would have been celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary in May.

Pamela was a huge lover of all animals living. Through her life, she had multiple cats and dogs, and donated to many animal rescues.  Pamela‘s last animal was her beloved cat Kiki, who was by her side when she passed.

Pamela had health issues for the last eight months and was in and out of rehab. Her last request was to just come home and be in her own home with her cat Kiki and her family. We promised her we would bring her home and we did. We brought mom home on April 1 and she spent the next four days with her family and her cat Kiki until she passed four days later with all of her loved ones.

Pamela was proceeded in death by her husband, William Crosswhite,
