June 7, 1935 — April 16, 2026
"The caravan of life shall always pass. Beware that it is fresh as sweet, young grass. Let's not worry about what tomorrow will amass. Fill my cup again, this night will pass, alas." (Umar Khayyam)
**Obituary for Shawn Hooshang Eimen** *June 7, 1935 – April 16, 2026*
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shawn Hooshang Eimen, who departed this world on April 16, 2026, at the age of 90, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born on June 7, 1935, in Ahvaz, Iran, Shawn was the cherished son of Mohammed Eimen and Nooshafarin Mehran, and one of 13 siblings. Shawn’s journey through life was marked by compassion, wisdom, and a fervent dedication to his family and career. Shawn's academic journey led him to Wisconsin State College from 1956 to 1962, where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. This education laid the foundation for a remarkable career in engineering, during which he contributed to prestigious companies, including Bostrom, U.O.P., Milsco Manufacturing Co., and Woodward Governor. His inventive spirit was reflected in his impressive collection of 12 engineering patents, a testament to his relentless pursuit of innovation. Throughout his life, Shawn exemplified kindness and generosity, traits that shone brightly in his interactions with others. He was particularly playful and loving with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with joy, laughter, and the simple pleasures of reading and playing together. Those who knew him cherished his warm humor and the ability to bring smiles to the faces of nephews and nieces. In addition to his professional and familial accomplishments, Shawn possessed a deep appreciation for the arts. He found fulfillment in the beauty of classical music and frequently attended symphony orchestra concerts. His love for life was further evident in his enjoyment of racquetball and simple pleasures, like indulging in ice cream. Shawn leaves behind a loving family, including his sons Perry Shahin Eimen, Anthony Mohammed Eimen, Todd Bijan Eimen, and Terry Sasaun Eimen, as well as his daughter Tania Jaleh Wuthier. Each of them carries forward his legacy of love and compassion. A memorial service to honor Shawn’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Garden Ranch Baptist Church in Colorado Springs. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom option will be available to participate in his celebration of life. Donations may be made to the Norooz Charity Foundation in memory of Shawn, supporting a cause close to his heart. As we say goodbye to a remarkable man, we are reminded of the strength of his spirit and the love he shared with us. Near the end of his life, Shawn came to trust in Jesus Christ, who said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life,” (John 5:24). Shawn Hooshang Eimen will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
