Francina Lee
September 9, 1970 โ April 26, 2026
๐๏ธ Reflections of the Life of Francina Lee
Francina Lee was born on September 9, 1970, in Columbia, South Carolina, and passed away on April 26, 2026, at the age of 55.
She received her education at Columbia High School and was a dedicated worker, spending over 20 years in the dietary department at Millennium Rehabilitation Center, where she was a beloved co-worker and showed consistency and care in everything she did.
Francina was a woman full of life, style, and presence. She took pride in how she showed up in the world and expressed herself through both her creativity and her style. Whether it was designing, creating, or doing the things that made her feel good, she put her own touch on everything she did, enjoying even the small parts of her routine, like her Starbucks.
Francina showed love through her actionsโwhether it was a phone call, checking in, or simply being there when it mattered most. She carried a strong belief in God, often expressing gratitude and trust in Him in her daily life. As a mother, she was a constant source of support and guidance. As a grandmother, her grandchildren were a central part of her life and meant everything to her.
Francina was preceded in death by her parents, Girtie Mae Noble and John Anderson Lee Sr., and her brother, John Anderson Lee.
Those left to cherish the precious memory of Francina are her longtime partner of over 20 years, Michael Jones; her children, Kiara (Melvin) Taylor, Devante Lee, and Kentwon Lake, all of Columbia, South Carolina; her sisters, Janice (Ronald Sr.) Weathers of Lumberton, North Carolina, Annette (Wayne) Brown of St. Matthews, South Carolina, and Doris Nash, Carol Gaffney, and Sophia Guida, all of Columbia, South Carolina; her brothers, Bernard (Collette) Lee of Norfolk, Virginia and George (Shawnti) Lee of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandchildren, London, Amir, Melanie, Marielle, Makenna, and Melvin Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Let us rejoice as she is now at peace, and we look forward to seeing her in the resurrection.
