Margaret Cannon

Margaret Davis Cannon went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 12, 2026. She was born on December 19, 1928, to the late Walter and Amos Davis. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and was the bookkeeper for her husband's construction business. She loved her family, her church (she was a member of Cayce Church of the Nazarene for over 50 years), and every opportunity to spend time at the beach.

She is survived by her children: Ray Cannon, III (Norma), Keith Cannon, Ronnie Cannon (Gloria), and Terri Rabon (Rusty); grandchildren: Melanie Whitfield (Shane), Todd Cannon (Candace), Kristi Giles, Keith Cannon, Jr. (Jane Cobb), Ashley Cannon, Adam Cannon (Lucy), Rebekah Summers (David), Joshua Rabon (Lacey), and Hannah Rabon; great-grandchildren: Chandler Giles, Cameron Giles, Jackson Cannon, Simi Cannon, Gray Cannon, Cannon Burtnett, James Graham, David Ross Summers, Emma Summers, Cooper Rabon, Gracie Summers, Lincoln Rabon, and Rett Summers.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, George Ray Cannon, Jr.; her siblings, Agnes Sabbagha, Betty Faye Stork, Elizabeth Keeler, John T. Davis, Penny Davis, Virginia Cotton, Vollie Davis, Walter Davis, and William Davis; and great-granddaughter Brittany Cannon.

The family would like to thank Dr. Stanley McCloy and the staff of All Seasons Hospice, as well as the staff of Colonial Gardens Memory Care, for the wonderful, compassionate care they gave to our Mom.
