Angela Denise Glenn

March 5, 1967 — February 21, 2026

In Loving Memory

Angela Denise Glenn, a loving wife and mother, family member, and friend entered her eternal rest into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, 21 February 2026.

Born on March 5, 1967, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Angela was the daughter of James Hemphill Sr. and Florence Hemphill. She was the oldest of three children. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age as her Lord and Savior. Angela was a 1985 graduate of Nurnberg American High School in Nurnberg, Germany. She immediately entered the work force as a medical appointment specialist at the Nurnberg Army Hospital. She was introduced to Trenton Glenn by a friend in August of 1990.

Angela returned to the United States in December of 1991.  Trenton returned a month later and they were married on May 30, 1992, in Pineville, North Carolina at China Grove A.M.E Zion Church. Their union in holy matrimony would eventually grow into a family of five with the births of their three sons, Jarron, Stephon and D’ Angelo.

Angela worked in various occupations after returning stateside to include employment at the Frito Lay Plant in Charlotte, North Carolina, a home daycare director and a CNA (certified nurses assistant).

She loved playing softball, bowling, swimming, watching track and field and college football. Although she was a die-hard North Carolina Tar Heel fan at first, Trenton was able to persuade her to become the greatest fan of the Tennessee Volunteers. Angela loved spending time with family and friends whenever any opportunity was presented. She never met anyone whom she considered to be a stranger.

Angela was a prayer warrior who consistently prayed and interceded for many. She had an indescribable passion for God and the things of God.

Angela leaves behind her husband Trenton, sons Jarron, Stephon and D’Angelo, stepson Quinton Northington, mother and stepfather (Florence and John Jones), father James Hemphill Sr., mother-in-law Willie Jean Glenn, brother James Hemphill Jr., sister Roshanda Gerald, goddaughter Ariel Stevens, and a host of family and special friends. Last but most definitely not least, her Havanese fur baby Simba Bliss Glenn.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Angela Denise Glenn at Thompson Funeral Home located at 4720 Augusta Rd. Lexington, SC 29073 on Saturday March 7, 2026, at 1:00  P.M.
