James "Jim" Lombard
February 17, 1932 — February 18, 2021
James L Lombard, 89, of Lexington, SC, passed away on February 18, 2021. He was born on President's Day in 1932 in Hookstown, PA, to the late Eugene and Marguerite Lombard.
Jim was preceded in death by his brothers: Thomas, Eugene, Jr. "Doc", and Jack; his sisters, Marguerite and Jane; and his son-in-law, Joey.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Morrow Lombard; his children: Nancy, Jack "Buzz" (Jeanie), and Sarah (Tony); along with grandchildren: Natilee, Marguerite, Helen (Clayton) and Joanna; great-grandson, Lucas James "Little Jimmy"; sisters, Anna and Sarah.
Jim was an Army veteran and attended Geneva College. He worked in the steel fabrication industry. He was an avid farmer and collector of Farmall tractors and equipment. He liked to travel all over the United States with his family, loved cars and Nascar racing. He enjoyed visits and keeping up with his grandchildren and his great-grandson.
A Memorial Service will be planned for this summer in Pennsylvania. Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army and His House of Columbia, Inc. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.woodridgefuneralhome.com
