William "Bill" S. Mooneyhan, Jr.
October 2, 1992 — March 27, 2026
William Stephen “Bill” Mooneyhan Jr., 33, of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2026.
Bill was born on October 2, 1992 to William “Bill” Stephen Mooneyhan and Laura Mooneyhan. Bill grew up surrounded by family, and was blessed with much in this life. Never shy to share his quick wit and fun to be around nature, whether among his family and friends, or in business, Bill’s kind spirit has left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Following the difficult loss of his father in 2021, Bill, who had worked alongside his dad since the age of 16, put under discipline his gifts of relational leadership and business management by taking over the family business of Mooneyhan’s Auto Service. Bills dedication and commitment to his family, the business, and our community, was a legacy that he was proud to continue.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, William Stephen Mooneyhan Sr. He is survived by his loving family, mother Laura Mooneyhan; his sisters, Emily Mooneyhan, Michelle Mooneyhan, and Charlene (Ryan) Guzman; his nephews, David Lyell Jr., and Rowan Guzman; and extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Bills sharp sense of humor, his generous heart, easy friendship and willingness to help anyone who needed it will be missed by many. His memory will live on in the ways we continue to show up for the people we love, and be with us in the stories we share together.
The Mooneyhan family deeply appreciates the prayerful, kind support from our beloved community during this difficult time; what a gift it is to be among such caring neighbors and friends, and will share details of a memorial service in remembrance of Bill at a later date.
