Anthony Angelo Neri
Jul 30, 1943 — Apr 29, 2026
Anthony Angelo Neri July 30, 1943 – April 29, 2026
Anthony Angelo Neri, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, at the age of 82.
Born on July 30, 1943, Anthony lived a life marked by dedication, humility, and love for those closest to him. He proudly served in the United States Navy, an experience that reflected his deep sense of duty and commitment to his country and helped shape the strength of character he carried throughout his life.
Anthony found his greatest joy at home, where he took pride in caring for his yard and creating a place of comfort and beauty for his family and friends. Whether tending to his lawn, working outdoors, or simply enjoying the results of his hard work, he found peace in those quiet moments. More than anything, he cherished time spent with those he loved and believed deeply that family was more than blood—it was built through loyalty, friendship, and the bonds formed over a lifetime. He welcomed others with an open heart, treating friends like family and making everyone feel they belonged.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, gentle nature, and the care he showed in both the big and small things. His presence brought comfort not only to his family but also to the many friends whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie Neri; his son, Alexander Neri, and his wife, Renee, and their children, John and Katherine; his daughter, Jennifer Gannon, and her husband, Christian, and their daughters, Isabella and Samantha; his brother, Angelo Neri; and his step-family, Maria Maselli, Assunta Migliaccio, and Rosetta Posnick and their families, along with many cherished friends who were like family.
Anthony leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to bring warmth to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate his life. Details of services will be shared by the family.
May he rest in peace.
Services will be May 5th from 4:00-8:00 at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71. N Central Highway, Garnerville.
Followed by a private cremation.
