Austin Emmanuel Parks

Austin Emmanuel Parks, 48, of Spring Valley, NY, formerly of Tomkins Cove, NY and Mahwah, NJ, tragically passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Austin was born on March 17, 1971 in the Bronx to Edward & Margaret (Keenan) Parks. Austin graduated from Immaculate Conception School, in Stony Point, NY, and Albertus Magnus High School in Bardonia, NY. He attended University of Connecticut, Rockland Community College, and SUNY Binghamton. He was an avid NY Yankee fan, loved the NY Giants, and enjoyed watching the Knicks. He was also a huge Sopranos fan. He is predeceased by his father, Edward Parks. He is survived by his loving mother, Margaret Parks of Wappinger’s Falls, NY, his beloved sisters, Attracta Parks Pryor (Daniel) of Hope Valley, RI; Ursula Parks Harelson of Sacramento, California, his nieces & nephews: Hayden Pryor, Hollie Pryor, Kacie Pryor, and Pamela Anne Harelson. Also surviving are his numerous cousins: John Lane Jr., Christopher Parks, Loretta Keenan, Paula Keenan, Annmarie Keenan, Amy Parks Trent, Mary Mobilia, Andrew Lane, Valerie Malloy, Liam Malloy, Sabrina Keenan Martin, Jonathon Keenan, Helen Forlenza and Noel Keenan. There will be a Mass of Christian burial held for Austin on Tuesday December 10th at the Our Lady of Queens Chapel on the grounds of the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY. Interment will follow with graveside services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. There will be limited visitation prior to the Mass at the Our Lady of Queens Chapel.
