Bernard J. Murray

Bernard J. Murray passed away on October 3rd, 2021. He was 85 years old. Bernard was born on August 12th, 1936 to Thomas and Winifred Scanlon. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for Dellwood Dairies in Yonkers, NY for 40 years. Bernard maried the love of his life, Eileen Foley, on April 25th, 1964 in St. Monica Church, NYC. They moved from the Bronx, NY to Stony Point, NY in 1970 to raise their family. He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Church and will be missed by all who knew him. Bernard is survived by his wife, Eileen; his daugher Erin; his sons Sean, Brian (Margaret), and William (Noreen); grandchildren Keven, Daniel, Caralyn, Meghan, and Liam. He was predeceased by his brothers Thomas and Kevin. Visiting will be held on Sunday, October 10th, from 2pm-6pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, Garnerville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 11th, 11am, St. Gregory Barbarigo Church. Interment will be held on Tuesday, October 12th, 11:00am at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
