Carlo Greco, 87 of Stony Point, New York,passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 13, 2026.

Born on January 12, 1939, in Calabria to Sestina and Frank Greco, Carlo immigrated to the United States as a young man, first settling in Warren, Pennsylvania before later moving to Rockland County, where he met the love of his life, Nuala. Together they built a beautiful life centered around family, hard work, and love.

Carlo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose intelligence, dedication, and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

He worked as a Senior Research Chemist for AkzoNobel, where he was credited with over 100 patents throughout his distinguished career. He took great pride in his work and was deeply respected for his innovation and contributions to the field.

Outside of work, Carlo found joy in golfing, coaching sports for his grandchildren, and attending their sporting events. He especially loved spending time with his family and supporting the people he loved most.

He is survived by his seven children: Barbara (Frank), Tony (Maria), Laurie (Al), Michael (Kristi), Martin, Noah, and Cathy; his 16 grandchildren; his 8 great-grandchildren; and his brothers Frank and Daniel.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nuala Greco; his daughter-in-law, Nicole Greco; and his sister-in-law, Julie Greco.

Family and friends will remember Carlo for his brilliance, sense of humor, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. His presence, guidance, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The viewing will be from 4-8pm Monday May 18, 2026 at the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY 10923 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated 10am Tuesday May 19, 2026 at The Church of the Immaculate Conception 26 John Street, Stony Point, NY with interment to follow at the St. Peters Cemetery Haverstraw, NY
