Carol Ann Antonini
Jan 16, 1948 — Jul 3, 2026
Carol Antonini (née Felice), 78, of Stony Point, New York, passed away on Friday, July 3rd, 2026, due to complications from a planned surgery. Her beloved children were with her as she peacefully transitioned. She was born in Suffern, New York, on January 16, 1948, to Joseph M. and Victoria Felice. Carol had deep roots in Haverstraw and graduated from Haverstraw-Stony Point High School (now North Rockland High School) in 1966 with a Regents diploma including a Secretarial Science endorsement. As one of “Miss Aron’s girls,” she began her career at Lederle Laboratories in the secretarial pool and quickly secured a permanent position. She married Anthony U. Antonini (whom she first met at her friend’s house while he was working on cars) on May 9,1970 and they shared a beautiful life of 52 years together. Carol also worked for the Town of Stony Point first as the Clerk to the Zoning Board and then as Justice Court Clerk, a position from which she retired in 2002.
Carol cherished her children and grandchildren and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She was known for loving babies, all babies. A parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point, she lovingly crocheted hundreds of baby blankets with accompanying hats that were gifted to babies baptized at the church. She served as a Girl Scout Leader and eventually became the Service Unit Chair for Stony Point Girl Scouts when her daughters were scouts. Most recently she became a member of the Haverstraw Senior Citizens Club and enjoyed their weekly Monday meetings and trips to places such as Broadway shows and the Culinary Institute of America.
She will be remembered for her loving heart and as someone who affirmed and accepted all people, no matter their walks of life or whom they loved. She will be dearly missed by all who had the good fortune to know her and be known by her.
In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, who died in December of 2022 and her brother, Joseph Felice, who died this past January of 2026. She is survived by her loving children Francesco Antonini (Diana) of Highland Lakes, New Jersey; Victoria Antonini of Brooklyn, New York; and Virginia Donnelly of Hewitt, New Jersey. She is also survived by her three grandchildren whom she adored with every fiber of her being: Kaiden Antonini, Matthew Antonini and Elizabeth Donnelly as well as her two sisters-in-law: Rosa Felice and Diana Prior (Martin) and five nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29 from 4pm-8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 30th at 10am at Immaculate Conception Church, 26 John Street, Stony Point, NY followed by interment at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Rd, Airmont, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Children’s Health and Research Foundation, Inc. (https://www.hudsonvalleychrf.org/donate) to honor Carol’s memory and her love for children.
