Carol M. Senatore (nee Conklin) passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, October 2nd. She was 79 years old. Carol was born in Good Samaritan Hospital on November 24th, 1943, to Mary and Calvin Conklin. She attended Haverstraw High School until she married the love of her life, John on May 29th, 1965. They moved to Stony Point where they raised 2 children. Her 3 grandchildren were the greatest joy of her life. Her faith, love for her family, friends and community was not only selfless but unconditional . She was always there to provide guidance, lend a helping hand or to support for those in need. She was instrumental and a founding member of the North Rockland Father & Son Association and the North Rockland Sports Hall of Fame. She will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Carol is survived by her loving husband John, her 2 children Jacqueline and John and wife (Vicki). She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren Tyler, Dylan, and Olivia. Carol is predeceased by her parents Calvin and Mary, brother Thomas and sister Eileen Stonely. Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 5th from 4p-8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held 10am Friday, October 6th at Immaculate Conception Church, John Street, Stony Point, NY. In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the North Rockland Sports Hall of Fame, 106 Hammond Rd. Thiells, NY 10984.
