Denise L. Correllus passed away peacefully With her family by her side on April 21st 2024. She was 58 years old. Denise was born and raised in Rockland County, New York and worked for Rockland ARC as a community specialist for over twenty years. She also had careers in the healthcare industry before that, caring for the elderly and spent some time at helen hayes hospital as a CNA. She put her heart and soul into what she did throughout her life. She was selfless and walked around with her heart on her sleeve. Her hobbies were dancing and listening to 60s. And 70s music, she was a die hard Led Zeppelin fan. She loved all animals, especially her cat Rady. She did some work in the trap and release for the strays and loved everything about it. She touched everyone she met in a special unique way and will be missed. Denise is survived by her daughter Melissa Caban( Joseph Caban). She is also survived by her sisters. Karen Williams and Shirley O'lori and Niece Margaret(Sarah)Knapp. Denise is predeceased by her father David Lee Correllus, and mother Violet Bloom. She is also predeceased buy her stepdad, Robert(Bob)Knapp and sister Pat Moraski. Celebration of life will be on Monday April 29, 2024 4-8pm at TJ Mcgowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY 10923. Mass will be on Tuesday 4/30/24 at Immaculate Conception 26 John St., Stony Point, NY 10980.
