Dolores L. Patterson

Dolores Patterson passed away peacefully on May 2, 2023 at the age of 91. Dolores was born in New York City in 1931. She was educated in New Jersey Schools and graduated from Seton Hall-St Elizabeth's School of Nursing and obtained her Registered Nursing Degree. Dolores was passionate about the healthcare field and worked in many facets of Nursing, eventually retiring from NY State -Letchworth Village in 2000. Dolores met her future husband, Robert Patterson Jr at St Eugene’s church dance in Yonkers NY. They were married June 2, 1956 and their union lasted until Bob's passing in 2010. Dolores and Bob shared many years of love, laughter and companionship. Dolores was an excellent cook, especially Italian food. She never hesitated to challenge her children and grandchildren to a cooking competition and always came out the winner. Dolores was a fan of Billy Joel, The Young and the Restless Soap Opera, Ice Cream, Cannolis and Cheese Cake. Dolores is survived by her children, Kathleen (Tim) Converse, Bob (Ellen) Patterson, and MaryEllen (Kevin) Howard. Grandchildren, Tim and Brian Converse, Kate and Brett Patterson, Jon Patterson and Meghan Howard. Great Grandchildren, Luke, Audrey, Nolan, Xavier and Julian Converse. A private ceremony will be held for the family. Mom, May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields, And, until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
