Edward Thomas Laiso known to family and friends as Hap, passed away peacefully at his home in Stony Point, New York on October 27th, at 86 years young with his loving wife of 58 years and children at his side.
Edward, proudly born in Manhattan, New York to Harry Laiso and Ellen Flannery Laiso on November 8, 1933.
Edward was an MP in the U.S. Army, a volunteer fire fighter in New City , NY and he also volunteered at Stony Point ambulance.
Ed worked at Letchworth, US Gypsum, and 28 years with Spring Valley Water, Presently Suez. He enjoyed many outdoor activities hunting, fishing, and long walks in nature. He also enjoyed playing cards, bowling, friends and most importantly family.
Edward and Kathleen Anderson married on August 18, 1962. They had five loving children.
Edward is predeceased by his parents and sister Sr. Caroline Laiso and brother -in -law Gary Young.
Edward is survived by his sister Mary Young. His loving wife Kathleen Anderson Laiso, children and spouses Patrick and Karen Laiso, Dawn Laiso, Edward and Elene Laiso, Deborah and Michael Dellatore, and Christine Laiso, and eight grandchildren.
