Elizabeth Lucia

Elizabeth Lucia (nee Pellegrino), 102, of Stony Point, NY, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024. She was born in North Tarrytown (Sleepy Hollow) on March 17, 1922. She married Daniel Lucia, Sr. on September 21, 1947. Elizabeth worked at Technicon, Tappan Hill Schools, and Thiells Elementary School. She was a member of several catholic organizations including Salesian Cooperators at the Marian Shrine. Elizabeth had a passion for reading, word search puzzles, watching Hallmark movies and game shows, but her greatest joy came from her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. Elizabeth is survived by her children Daniel Lucia Jr. (Linda), Maryann Andrews (Richard), and Donna Faist (Paul); grandchildren Leanne, Paul(Diane), Karen(Marc), Robert(Beth), Ryan(Ali), Melissa(Chris), Lindsay(Ricky); greatgrandchildren Julia, Emily, Paulie, Alexa, Bethany, Vincent, Mia, Aydan, Nadia, Nicholas, Adrianna, Tyler, Dean, and Luke. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 4pm-8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, 10:30am at the Transfiguration Catholic Church in Tarrytown, followed by interment at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
