Gertrude Ann Depalo
d. Oct 23, 2019
Gertrude "Dolly" DePalo, October 23, 2019. Born January 5, 1925, Dolly was one of five children. She met the late Vincent DePalo and the two lovebirds were married on October 16, 1949. She is survived by her four children, Grace, AnnMarie, Colette, and Anthony; her five grandchildren Keith, Lindsay, Ashley, Michele, and Elizabeth; and six great-grandchildren Bronson, Deailah, Angel, Tristan, Hailey and Noah. Dolly was known for her easy smile and her selfless ways. She had a way of making people feel comfortable and at home. Her hobbies included bowling, card playing and saying the word Frig. She always put her family first, and her home emanated the aroma of her famous crab-sauce. When she wasn’t cooking, she was enjoying her favorite - Chinese food! Her day usually began with a good motza and jelly, while watching Little House on the Prairie. Armed with her quick wit, she spent her day making sure others were alright. Dolly always enjoyed watching Figure Skating with her late husband Vincent, or watching classic 1970s TV, her beloved Disney movies, laughing, and eating with the ones she loved. She kept herself surrounded with family and photos of loved ones.
