John E. Peterson

John Edward Peterson, 56, of Stony Point, Passed away on September 27th, 2023. He was born in Nyack On May 12th, 1967 to Marie and Harold Peterson. He graduated from North Rockland High School. John worked at South Orangetown School Districts as a Custodian. He was a beloved volunteer to the Wayne Hose Company #1 Firehouse in Stony Point. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, being with his wife and kids. John is survived by his wife Donna Peterson (Nelson), his son Travis, daughter Jacqueline with her husband Devin Boyko, Brothers Harold, Thomas and sister Donna. He is Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Marie (Babcock) Peterson. John’s family would love to thank the dedicated doctors and staff of Fresenius Kidney Care in Suffern for the constant care of their loved one. We would also love to thank all of the friends and family for the tremendous support during this challenging time. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023 from 3pm-7pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY 10923.
