Joseph A. Dossi
Dec 27, 1948 — Sep 8, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Anthony Dossi announces his passing on Friday, September 8, 2023, at the age of 74. Joseph was born in Mount Vernon, New York on December 27, 1948. He worked for Pioneer Transportation for 26 years as a school bus driver, where he met his wife of forty years, Gail (Scarpone). Joseph is survived and will be missed by his wife, two children, Tennille (David) and Andrew (Elizabeth), and his brother-in-law George Eacobacci. He will forever be a proud “papa” to Adrianna, Paige, Brayden, and Joseph. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence Dossi, sister, Elvera Eacobacci, and brother, Guy Dossi. Joseph was an avid NY Yankee fan, coin collector, car enthusiast, and gardener.
His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with as well as those he reached but never met. Share your stories of remembrance on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, Garverville, NY from 12:00 - 4:00 PM. The family will be hosting a reception following the services.
