Joseph J. Ryan Jr.

Joseph J. Ryan Jr., age 64, died on Tuesday, January 22nd at his home in Highland Falls. He was born on April 21st, 1954 in the Bronx to the late Frances and Joseph J. Ryan Sr. He is survived by his daughters, Margaret Dunworth, Colleen (Ryan) Rourke and their mother Patricia; two granddaughters, Rhylee and Paige Dunworth; brothers Gerald and John (Robin); and sisters Eileen and Frances. Raised in Blauvelt, Joe was a graduate of Tappan Zee High School and worked at MRC, Chromalloy and Amscan throughout his career. He loved spending time with his beloved friends at Gilligan’s and was a diehard Yankees fan whose life revolved around his family and his strong faith. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, January 27th from 3-7 p.m. at T.J. McGowan Funeral Home, 71 Central Hwy, Garnerville. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 28th at 11 a.m. at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, 21 Cinder Road, Garnerville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
