Kathleen M Coyne

Kathleen M. Coyne, 78, of Stony Point passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 16, 2019. She was born on October 6, 1940 in the Bronx to William & Anne Connelly. Kathy married her loving Husband Gerard Coyne on June 24, 1960, he predeceased her on May 31, 2007. Kathy worked for the County of Rockland as a medical Assistant in the Robert Yeager Health complex for 17 years and also was a Beautician for Lottie’s Hair Salon for a number of years. Besides her parents and her husband Kathy was also predeceased by her sister Ann O’Callaghan & her brother William Connelly. She is survived by her loving children Gerard (Donna) Coyne of Monroe, NY, Stephen (Bernadette) of Blauvelt and Diane Brennan of Stony Point, her adored & cherished grandchildren Allison, Timothy, Brian, Thomas, Matthew, Katie, Tara, Lauren, Sean, Jerry and Stephanie. Her caring sister Barbara (Richard) Ghirardelli of Florida, as well as numerous nieces & Nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tues. Feb. 19th from 4 & 8 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Kathleen on Weds. Feb. 20th at 10 AM in the church of the Immaculate Conception in Stony Point with interment to follow in Ascension Cemetery in Airmont, NY.
