Kathleen Fox

Kathleen Fox (nee Scanlon), 63, of Haverstraw, NY, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2022. She was born in Queens, NY on July 27, 1958. Kathleen graduated from North Rockland High School and Rockland Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She enjoyed working as a Licensed Practical Nurse and a private duty nurse for many years. Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, John Scanlon; sister, Eileen Scanlon; brother, John Scanlon. Kathleen is survived by her beloved mother, Mary Scanlon; and her children, Kiera Fox-Turney (Phil Turney), Kristen Fox (Johny Urgiles), Kailyn Fox, and Thomas Fox. She is also survived by her loving brothers, Eugene (Eileen) Scanlon, Brendan (Erin) Scanlon, Thomas (Nicole) Scanlon, William (Christine) Scanlon, and her many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, 115 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY 10927. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the viewing at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Haverstraw. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC (BigsNYC/Donate).
