Larry Leisner entered into rest early Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the age of 58.
Larry was a simple, kind man who will be missed in Stony Point for his long walks throughout town chatting with the neighbors and gardening in his backyard. He most recently worked as a driver for Manheim New York Auto Auction in Newburgh, NY. He loved his coworkers/friends on the van.
Larry is survived by his sister Sylvia Bittles and her husband James; their children James, Christopher and Amanda; his niece Jennifer (Hogue) Leisner of Glendale, AZ, her children Morgan and Casey, and nephew Stephen Leisner of Phoenix, AZ. Larry is predeceased by his parents, WWII veteran Isadore Leisner and Lorraine Leisner Carlo, stepfather Abraham Carlo, brother Robert Leisner and long time friend Susan Post.
Larry will be cremated followed by a memorial service on Saturday, October 19 from 3-6 PM at T.J. McGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY, 10923.
