Lorraine (Brophy) Picariello passed away peacefully on January 5, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of North Rockland and always enjoyed being with her family. Lorraine was a long-time member of the Stony Point Senior Citizens Club and Immaculate Conception Parish in Stony Point. She retired from Helen Hayes and was fortunate enough to enjoy many years of retirement. She was predeceased by her husband Michael, her sister Lucy and her brother James. She is survived by her loving two daughters Nancy Lewis and Catherine (John) Nicks, her cherished grandchildren Joseph (Melissa), Stacy (Michael), Melissa (Michael), and John (Theresa). She is also survived by her 10 adored great-grandchildren: James, Jason, Christian, Ashley, Ryan, Tyler, Addison, Emily, Natalie & John Thomas.
We know her beautiful blue Irish eyes will continue to watch over each and every one who loved her.
The family will receive friends & family at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY on Wednesday Jan. 9th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Lorraine on Thursday Jan. 10th
at 10 AM in the Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point, with interment to follow in St. Peters Cemetery in Haverstraw.
