Maureen Stewart, 66, of Washingtonville, NY, passed away January 12, 2024.
She was born in Suffern, NY on August 29, 1957. Maureen graduated from Albertus Magnus HS and received an undergraduate and Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Rochester . She also earned a MBA from Pace University.
Maureen was a Mortgage Industry Professional who held management positions with various banks, privately held investment and consulting firms as well as Fortune 500 corporations.
She had a passion for cooking, enjoyed family time, especially activities with her nieces and nephews and had a love for her pet cat.
She is survived by her siblings Kevin, Eugene (Anna), Patricia Mazzella (Michael), Carl (Patricia) and MaryEllen, her nieces and nephews Stephanie (Steven), Madelyn, Chulainn, Daniel, Christopher, Megan, Matthew, Nicholas, Brendan, Gabriella and grand nephew Colin. She is pre deceased by her parents Carl and Elizabeth Stewart and her brother Mark (Lisa).
Funeral arrangements will be held 3-7, Sunday January 21 at TJ McGowan’s. Funeral Mass at 10:00 at Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Hudson Valley SPCA.
