Patricia Mary Joyce

Patricia Mary Joyce, 54, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2021. She was born on January 24, 1967 to John M. Joyce and Joan M. Joyce (Morse) in New York City, NY. Patricia was employed by Shop Rite for over 37 years where she won awards for fastest cashier/packer. She rose to inventory specialist (if Shop Rite didn’t have it, she got it). Patricia was a big baseball fan but inexplicably, she rooted for Chicago White Sox in the Fisk and Baines era. Her brothers-in-law nicknamed her the Rockland Rocket, as she jumped into her Thunderbird and sped up 9W with her friend, Karen Romano to go dancing, etc. Her hero was Olivia Newton John and her theme song was “Physical” by the same. She was a parishioner at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church for over 50 years and often subbed on Saturday evenings at Perpetual Adoration. Patricia is survived by her parents; her son Aidan Joseph Falcone; her siblings Maureen Colantonio (Daniel), John Joyce (Karen); nieces and nephews Sean Greene, Megan Andrews (Kyle), Christina and Jonathan Colantonio, Caitlin and Courtney Joyce and great-niece Makayla Andrews. She was predeceased by her sister Eileen Joyce. Patricia will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 6, from 4pm-8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 11am, St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Joe Raso Hospice Residence, New City, NY.
