Ralph R. Pacella

Ralph R. Pacella (Ray), of Stony Point, entered into eternal rest with his family by his side on August 2, 2023. He was 81 years old. The son of the late Michael Pacella and Gertrude (Marotta) Pacella. Ray was born on January 29, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY. Ray retired after 40 years as an auto mechanic. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, friend and neighbor to all. He loved to listen and dance to doo-wop with his beloved Gerri. They enjoyed trips to the casino and early afternoon lunch dates. Most of all Ray loved weekends down the shore where he could light up a cigar to fish and crab till the sun went down. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Geraldine (Brooks), and his loving children Nadine Greco (Thomas), Darlene Pacella, Kim Chiorazzi (Paul), Ralph Pacella Jr. (Jill), and Christine Vasti (Vincent). He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren: Jenna (Robert) and Thomas Jr. Greco, Paul (Christina), Alexa (Anthony), and Daniela Chiorazzi, Raymond, Michael, and Julianna Pacella, and Erica, Olivia, and Gianna Vasti and two Great-Grandchildren: Atalia DiMarsico and Gia Chiorazzi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Ray was predeceased by his beloved grandson, Thomas Greco Jr. and siblings: Frank, Anthony, Michael, Molly, Angie, and Theresa. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesday August 8, 2023 at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Homes 71 Central Hwy, Garnerville, NY 10923. Immediately following the Visitation Interment will be at Mount Repose Cemetery, Haverstraw NY.
