Rocco D'Elia

Rocco D’Elia of Stony Point NY, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2022. He was born in Quaglietta, Italy on February 2, 1944 to the late Giovanni and Anna (nee Mastrogiacomo) D’Elia. Rocco worked as a butcher for over 30 years. He was a member of the Italian American Club and an avid NY Mets and Bills fan. Rocco is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jerilyn and two children Robert (Julie) and Anthony (Sally); five grandchildren Anthony, Rocco, Enzo, Giovanni and Olivia; sister-in-law Carol; three nephews John, Michael and Anthony. He was predeceased by brothers Vincenzo, Antonio and sister Rosemarie. He will be reposing Wednesday, January 4, 4-8pm at TJ McGowan Funeral Home Central Highway Garnerville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 5th, 11am, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Garnerville, NY, followed by interment at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet NY.
