Teresa M. Sunseri, 76, peacefully transitioned on February 1, 2023 with her husband Philip, daughter LisaAnn and granddaughter Ariana by her side.
Teresa was born in Nyack, New York on December 3, 1946 to the late Frederick and Veronica Wahl. After meeting and marrying Philip F. Sunseri Jr. on July 30, 1966, she dedicated herself to her family until the very end. She was a member of the Haverstraw Senior Citizen Club and the Village of West Haverstraw Senior Citizen Club. In her free time, you could find her teaching her family to play cards and board games, crocheting and crafting, or meeting other club members for Bingo on Monday nights.
Teresa is predeceased by her brother Ronald and sister Joyce. She is survived by her husband Philip F. Sunseri Jr., her children Anthony, LisaAnn, David and his wife Kristina. She is also survived by her grandchildren Samantha, Sharnie, Kyle, Alex, TJ, Ariana, Isabella and her great-grandchildren Lily and Carmella. She is also survived by her sister Marjorie and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 6 from 4pm-8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 7, at 10am in St. Peter's Church. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
