Thomas G. Pugh

We are saddened to announce that Thomas G. Pugh, 73, of Stony Point, NY passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Saturday February 17, 2024. Thomas was born March 14, 1950, to Robert and Rose (Soldano) Pugh in Chicago, IL. Thomas married the love of his life Donna on November 7, 1970, and raised their family in North Rockland. For over 40 years he owned and operated Rockland County Auto Bodyalong with his father-in-law Al Kaiser, until retiring in 2021. He loved cars and gardening but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Thomas will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his beloved wife Donna, his son Thomas Jr, his daughter Kristina Alfonso and husband Dennis, and 3 grandchildren Isabella, Logan and Devon. He is also survived by his sister Jeanine Brunas (John), two brothers Robert (Barbara) Pugh and Joseph (Cathy) Pugh,his mother-in-law, Doris Kaiser, and two brothers-in law, Ron Kaiser and Al (Gabriella) Kaiser, and several nieces and nephews. Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Rose Pugh, his brother Chuck and father-in-law Al Kaiser. Family will receive friends on Wednesday February 21, from 3:00 – 7:00 pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. A funeral Service to celebrate Thomas’s life will be held on Thursday, February 22, at 11am at TJ McGowans Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Thomas’s memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSKCC).
