Arlene “Toni” Chase was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great- great grandmother, sister, and friend. She peacefully left this world on June 14, 2023, at age 95.
She was born to Bernard and Blanche (Sherman) Willis on August 17, 1927, in Suffern NY. Toni married Richard “Dick” Chase on September 18, 1948. Together they had 2 children: Barbara and Richard “Dick”.
She was a long-time resident of Rockland County, NY until 2001 when she moved to Sebastian, FL with her family.
Toni loved spending time with her family and anything to keep her mind sharp such as playing cards, reading, and putting puzzles together. She was an avid sailor with her family and was a lifelong member of the Minisceongo Yacht Club in Stony Point, NY.
Toni is survived by her daughter, Barbara Chase (Edward) Dolan, son Richard “Dick” (Theresa) Chase, grandchildren, Theresa (Chase) Moore, Megan (Dolan) Falcone, Richard Chase, Nicholas Chase, Brian Dolan, Trisha (Dolan) Hall, Jonathan “Jon” Chase and Courtney (Chase) Lelinho, their spouses, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A burial service will be held in New York at the Veterans Cemetery in Spring Valley on June 23rd at 11 am with a luncheon following at Lynch’s on the Green in Stony Point.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
