Barbara Reyes

Barbara Reyes of Spring Valley, NY, age 53, left this earth to be with the Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 29, 2021. Barbara was born in Bronx, NY to Erohilda Freese. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and enjoyed time with her family, especially her twin granddaughters, her son, mother and sister. Barbara was raised and lived in Rockland County most of her life where she worked and had lots of friends who loved her crazy ways. Barbara has always been a hard worker she worked as an Administrative Assistance at the Walnut Hills Senior Complex in Haverstraw, NY as well as the ShopRite in Garnerville, NY, where she was an essential worker throughout the pandemic and was loved by all her co-workers. Barbara loved to read during her free time and loved to make people laugh. She is predeceased by her father Arthur Freese, her nephew Terrance (Terry) Rivera and niece Tialihia Rivera. Barbara is survived by her son llyass A. Arroyo and cherished granddaughters Aaliyah & Aviana Arroyo, mother Erohilda Freese, sister Diane Rivera-Greene, nephews Michael Rivera & Joshua Greene and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 1-5pm at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 133 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY. Homegoing service will be celebrated on the same day immediately following at 5pm in the same location.
