Deanna Marie Talamini (Whitington) 76, born July 12, 1943, went peacefully to heaven on Sunday, September 1, 2019. Deanna was a lifelong resident of Rockland County, she attended Haverstraw High School ‘61. Deanna loved to cook and bake for her family and friends and play games of chance. She married Humbert Talamini on August 30, 1969. Deanna worked at the Town of Haverstraw for 16 years.
Deanna was predeceased by her loving husband Humbert Talamini, her parents William and Evelyn (Trimble) Whitington and her brother William Whitington Jr. She is survived by her three children, Jeffrey (Karen Donaldson), James (Stacey) and Jean Marie. Deanna was very proud of her six grandchildren, C.J., Julia, Isabella, and James Talamini and Kimberlyn and Kelsey Frost. She is survived by her sister Eileen (Whitington) Johnson of Billings, Montana and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Deanna’s life will be held from 3pm to 9pm at the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home 133 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY, 10927 (845-202-9390). A service will be held at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hi-Tor Animal Shelter (65 Fireman’s Memorial Drive, Pomona, NY 10970) or United Hospice of Rockland (11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956).
