Gisele Anne Marie Augustin of Haverstraw, New York passed away peacefully on Sunday May 19th 2024. She was 88 years old. Gisele was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on July 15th 1935 to Joseph Augustin and Lydia Horel.
Gisele graduated from High School in Haiti and received her Associate Degree of Completion from Adelphi Business Schools on 1/12/1973 in Brooklyn, New York.
Gisele worked for the NYS Department of Developmental service/ Letchworth Village for 25yrs as an Occupational Therapist.
She was a devoted member of St. Peters Parrish. She loved to attend Sunday Mass and go on Religious trips and retreats with hers Brothers and Sister from her Church groups.
Gisele is survived by her son’ Patrick Jean-Pierre and Gary M. Jean-Pierre, her grandchildren Jazmine Gisele Jean-Pierre and Isaiah DeAndre Jean-Pierre, great granddaughter Aviona Mont,
And her sister Rolande Carrie and Denise Romain.
The Family will receive friends on Wednesday May 29, from 4pm to 8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 133 Broadway, Haverstraw, New York 10927.
The Mass and Burial service will take place on Thursday 5/30, 10:00am at St. Peter’s Church 115 Broadway, Haverstraw, New York.
