Mary Gagliano passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 26th, 2023. She passed away at the age of 85 after struggling with Parkinson's disease for the past 13 years. Mary was born in the Bronx, NY on February 28,1938 to Anna & Joseph Di Panise. She worked at Howard Johnson Restaurant, Bronx, NY where she met Gary. Mary married Gary on February 27th, 1970. They moved to Throggs Neck, NY where they raised their 4 children. Mary loved to cook and bake especially for her holidays. Her hobbies were knitting, stained glass and shopping. They moved to Haverstraw, NY in October 1978. She worked at Little Tor Cafe in New City, NY and Congers Diner in Congers, NY. She loved spending time with her family, but her greatest joy came from her 6 grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her. Mary is survived by her beloved husband Gary and 4 children: Angela, Andrew, Robert and Maryann. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren: Thomas, Julie, Andrew Jr., Mike, Amy and Richard and 6 great grandchildren and her sisters Catherine, Edith and Alice. Mary was predeceased by her sister Joann and her brother Fred. Interment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY on Monday, July 3tf, 2023 at 11:00 am. Donations can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
