James E. Harwood, age 70, passed away on March 4, 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Born in Minnesota, Jim built a life defined by hard work, humor, and generosity. He spent most of his career in food service sales, where he was known for his dedication and the relationships he built along the way. In his later years, he found joy in driving cars for local dealerships, delivering them to their new owners with pride.

Jim truly loved the game of golf. He cherished the time spent on the course with his close group of friends, always enjoying the camaraderie as much as the game itself. It was one of his greatest pleasures.

He will be remembered as a funny, smart, and deeply generous man who cared for others in ways both big and small. In his final days, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and found peace in his faith.

No public services will be held. In accordance with his wishes, his ashes will be scattered on the golf course.

He will be deeply missed and will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him
