Tammy Christine Reep

Tammy Christine Reep, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, in Mooresville, North Carolina, at the age of 65. She was born on December 4, 1959, in Salisbury, North Carolina, where she lived most of her life, embodying the warmth and spirit of the community she cherished.

Tammy was a proud graduate of Salisbury High School and went on to earn an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. Her career as a nurse at the Piedmont Correctional Facility allowed her to make a significant impact on the lives of those she cared for, showcasing her immense compassion and dedication to helping others. 

Those who knew Tammy remember her kindness, her infectious sense of humor, and her generous spirit. She held a special place in the hearts of many, including her daughter Kammy, her brother Michael Lee, and her cherished grandchildren, Sebastian and Selah. Tammy also leaves behind a host of family members who adored her, including her niece Regana and Heather, nephews, Josh and Michael, great-nieces Kamryn(tuptake) Makayla, Callie, Malaizha, Sa’mya , great-nephews Caleb, Isaiah, Cedric, John(JJ) Tyree, King, Great great nephew  Kayden and cousin Joy Shuford and many more. She is preceded in death by her parents Janet Parks Reep and Glenn Lee Reep in heaven. 

A celebration of Tammy's life and legacy will be held at Sherrills Ford Road Baptist Church, located at 6455 Sherrills Ford Road, Salisbury, NC 28147, on November 1, 2025, at 4 PM. Family and friends are invited to join together, remembering the joyful and nurturing spirit that Tammy shared. 

In this time of reflection and remembrance, we honor her life's journey and the lasting love she bestowed upon those fortunate enough to know her. Though she has departed from this Earth, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us to cherish the time we have together. Rest in peace, dear Tammy.
